East African adventure including excellent game viewing and exotic Zanzibar

Both Kenya and Tanzania are magical destinations with stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and diverse cultures. On the Kenya safari section we head into the Great Rift Valley, visiting both Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Naivasha has a good diversity of wildlife and a healthy hippo population, and we include a visit to Elsamere, the former home of Joy Adamson. Lake Nakuru National Park has an incredible variety of birds and wildlife, including the endangered rhino, elusive leopard and, in season, a million flamingos.
Our journey continues into Tanzania, where we have spectacular game drives in both the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
The Serengeti is the largest and most famous national park in Tanzania, and is home to an remarkable amount of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs and at certain times of the year, the wildebeest migration.
The Ngorongoro Crater, with its blue-green vistas and unparalleled concentration of wildlife, is simply amazing.
Our journey finishes on the spice island of Zanzibar, a tropical paradise with white sand beaches and clear blue waters, a relaxing end to a fascinating trip.
What makes this trip responsible?
Most of the tour is spent camping which reduces our energy consumption for the whole trip. We also source all of the food used while camping locally. Furthermore, whilst camping, the leaders ensure that we minimise impact as much as possible by such things as clearing up camping areas after use.
We pay the mandatory park fees which contribute to conservation of the parks and surrounding areas.
