Explore Guyana - dense rainforest, open savannah plains, exotic wildlife and spectacular scenery

Jaguar

Guyana is the hidden jewel in South America's rich natural crown and its dense rainforests and rolling savannahs are home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife.

Journeying deep into the interior we search for the striking Guianan Cock-of-the-rock at thundering Kaieteur Falls, scan the plains for glimpses of Giant anteater and canoe along placid jungle rivers looking for Giant river otters.

Guyana is one of the best places in the world to see the notoriously elusive jaguar, the largest feline in the Americas, and with luck we may have sightings of this beautiful New World predator as it emerges from the undergrowth in search of its next meal.
