Senior Product Manager Joined Exodus in: 2000 A love of cycling from an early age meant that Andy was always destined to travel. This began with cycling to and from school, followed by a misspent youth racing BMX bikes. The distances have increased a little since then, culminating with two 4000+ mile rides around the States and Mexico. Five years leading cycling, trekking and snowshoe trips for Exodus enabled him to travel much further afield and this experience is put to good use in his current role managing the short haul Product team. Expert in: Cycling, Winter Activities, Eastern Europe Email me on: aross@exodus.co.uk | Sales Team Leader
Joined Exodus in: 2005 After a career development loan financed Travel College in Brighton, Ian joined Exodus, having previously worked for another adventure tour operator where he learnt how to dive, ski & sail (not at the same time!). Ian has been fortunate to travel to some fantastic destinations over the years, his favourite places including Turkey & Cuba. His next adventures see him cycling through South Africa & attempting Everest Base Camp - beach holidays are a thing of the past! Expert in: Cycling, Turkey, Croatia, Cuba, Northern India, Picos De Europa, Rio Carnival, Morocco, Egypt. Email me on: ilangford@exodus.co.uk |
Sales Consultant Joined Exodus in: 2009 Having embarked on his first round the world trip at the age of 19 Marcus quickly found that the most important thing to him was to keep travelling for as long as he possibly could! This eventually led him to employment in the travel industry, where he has specialised in Africa, Latin America and sold most worldwide destinations for the last 6 years or so. Having spent 18 months teaching and travelling in South America, he would no doubt put that continent at the top of his list of favourite destinations, although Africa comes a very close second. Expert in: The Americas (North and South), Africa, Nepal, Cycling Email me on: mnicholson@exodus.co.uk | Customer Operations Executive
Joined Exodus in: 2006 Do you want to know how it feels to cycle down Death Road in Bolivia covered in mud? Or maybe learning how to surf in Ecuador? Do you know what guinea pig from a restaurant in Huaraz tastes like? Does one sweat while cycling in Cuba on a sunny day? Does accidental drinking of river water whilst white-water rafting in Ecuador cause diarrhoea? What to do if you see a bear on your path in Canadian Rockies? Finally, where is the small restaurant in Damascus that serves camel meat? Ask Karol! Expert in: Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Cuba, Canada, Syria, Walking, Cycling; outdoor equipment. Leader Operations Manager
Joined Exodus in: 2000 Olly joined Exodus over a decade ago, having initially been a client in Morocco. He had a mini epiphany sitting on a boulder at Toubkal basecamp, and decided a tour leader's life was the one for him! He's a hardcore mountain biker and has spent most of the past 20 years searching for that perfect stretch of swoopy singletrack! He now splits his time between looking after our team of UK based leaders and jetting off overseas to run training courses for our teams of local leaders. Not a bad life, all things considered! Expert in: Italy, Morocco, Nepal, Pyrenees, Pakistan, Mountain Biking, Snowshoeing. Email me on: otownsend@exodus.co.uk | Marketing
Joined Exodus in: far too long ago to remember Arguably the best travelled man in Britain, Phil has notched up over 100 countries since joining Exodus sometime (he wont tell us exactly) in the 1980s. His 10 years driving Exodus Overland Expeditions around Asia, Africa and South America included 3 north-south traversves of Sudan and various visits to Afghanistan. Office work has slightly tamed the man, and interests now lean more towards trekking - Dolpo in Western Nepal; and biking - wine trails of France. Expert in: Turkey, Iran, Nepal, Bhutan, Chile, Argentina, self-guided cycling in Europe. Email me on: pnormington@exodus.co.uk |
