With rides up to 93 miles a day climaxing with big climbs at altitudes up to 16,000 feet, biking from Lhasa to Kathmandu isn't for everybody. But hardy cyclists will be rewarded for their efforts with visits to the remote Sera Monastery and palaces of the Dalai Lama, as well as stunning views of the Himalaya, including the North Face of Everest.

We're thrilled by this achievement and what makes this award all the more special was that it was voted for by you, our customers!

National Geographic Survey badge: Best Adventure Travel Companies on Earth
Tour companies around the world were invited by National Geographic Adventure to fill in questionnaires about their products, which were then scored by the magazine 1 to 100 on the following categories: education, sustainability, quality of service and spirit of adventure. Then a team of Adventure editors, travel writers, and experts vetted those with overall scores of 80 and above and, from this pool of candidates, chose the “Best Outfitters on Earth". What makes this award so special was that it was open to operators from around the world, making it a very prestigious achievement indeed!
